My disability exists not because I use a wheelchair, but because the broader environment isn't accessible.
Stella Young

If you don't use a wheelchair yourself, making your restaurant wheelchair-friendly can be challenging. Perhaps you're wondering where to begin? How can we really define 'wheelchair-friendly'

-Wheelchairs can roll easier under four-legged tables than under one-legged tables.

-Wheelchair users should be able to use the restaurant comfortably.

-Furniture should not be placed too close together.

The restaurant should offer a variety of wheelchair-friendly seating options, not just one corner.

-and don't forget the bar area.......

Having a comfortable bar area will allow guests to order drinks while waiting for their tables to be seated; An effective bar is essential to a restaurant because beer, wine, and cocktails are all very profitable.

You need to come up with an unusual theme for your bar that can help you stand out amongst your competition. You need to determine the clientele you are targeting and plan the theme of the bar accordingly because the space that you create should be a fit for the people who will bring life to it.
