A chair with multiple awards
Gentle curves, contrasting materials, manually bent wood. The Chips lounge chair is striking for its commanding airy backrest, shaped like a potato chip, which becomes part of the chair base. The airy backrest embraces a cushy seat made with comfortable upholstery and pocket springs. Seating comfort is enhanced with a removable back pillow. The Chips ottoman is shaped like the seat of the Chips lounge chair. The base is made from hand-bent wooden rods and holds a wide seat resembling a potato chip.
This design created by Lucie Koldova has been awarded multiple times at Reddot awards as well as German designer award in 2019.
